Students will use class time to develop mouse skills and beginning finger placement.  Use of Internet sites will be used to reinforce skills learned in the regular classroom.

1st Semester

Elementary Keyboarding–Grades 3, 4, 5, 6

Our goal in elementary keyboarding is to give an introduction to the alphanumeric keyboard using keyboarding software–Typing Time and various Internet based keyboarding sites. Instruction will be given to develop correct finger usage, posture, and accessing OneDrive to save/retrieve documents. As time progresses, instruction will be expanded to use Microsoft Word 2019 for basic word processing needs and Microsoft PowerPoint 2019 for class projects.
