Tomorrow’s Menu:
Breakfast: Doughnuts, smoothies, cereal, fruit, juice and milk.
Lunch: Chicken pot pie over biscuits, carrots, celery and cantaloupe.
Spirit Week posters are posters are posted throughout the school. Show your school spirit and dress accordingly!!
Tuesday: Pajama Day
Wednesday: Nerd/Hat Day
Thursday: Decades Day (60’s, 70’s or 80’s) or Bearcat Spirit Day.
There will be no private band lessons before or after school this week.
Second Drama meeting Wednesday, Feb. 10th at noon in the FCS room. You must bring your parental awareness slip with signature to this meeting in order to be in the play. No Exceptions!!
Practice Jersey! If anyone would like to buy a large Bearcats reversible practice jersey, see Mr. Feist.
The FFA Dodgeball tournament team list is with Mariah Kitzan. If you wish to not participate please talk to Mariah.
There will be an Easter Party on Tuesday, Feb. 16th after school at the St. John’s Church for any children interested.
Valentine’s Box Top Contest for Grades K-6! If you wish to participate in the Valentine’s contest you may fill out a Valentine sheet of 10 good for a pencil, bookmark or you may save the 10 toward a poster
The 2010 Dushinke and Jamison Water Resource Scholarship will be awarded May 1st. There will be two $1,000.00 scholarships awarded to one female and one male applicant whose family has taken an active role in state water resource management. The application deadline is April 1st. If you need an application please see Mrs. Underdahl or call Angela Magstadt at 701-223-8332 for more information.
Mrs. Underdahl will be placing some information on the student bulletin board regarding the Governor’s School at the NDSU campus this summer scheduled for June 6 through July 17th. The program involves all aspects of the performing arts. If you interested there is a phone number and e-mail address for more information! Applications should be postmarked no later than Feb. 15, 2010.
There is information in the office for parents who are interested in free or low cost health coverage for children.
